    荒川に面した高台に建つ天台宗の寺院で、緑に囲まれた広い境内には、山門や大堂（阿弥陀堂）をはじめとした江戸時代以来の建物があります。この泉福寺の木造阿弥陀如来坐像は、高さ89.3cm、鎌倉時代の弘長2年（1262）に制作されたことで知られ、国の重要文化財に指定されています。かつては「大堂」と呼ばれる阿弥陀堂に安置されていましたが、文化財としての重要性から、現在は大堂前の耐火収蔵庫内に安置されています。（現存の堂宇は正保4年（1647年）に再建されたものです。） 【料金】無料

      This temple of the Tendai sect, located on a hill facing the Arakawa River, has a spacious precinct surrounded by greenery, featuring buildings from the Edo period, including the mountain gate and the main hall (Amitabha Hall). The wooden seated statue of Amitabha Buddha at Senpukuji is known for its height of 89.3 cm and was made in the second year of the Kocho era (1262) during the Kamakura period, and it is designated as an important cultural property of the country. It was once enshrined in the Amitabha Hall, known as the "Daito," but due to its significance as a cultural property, it is now housed in a fireproof storage facility in front of the main hall. (The existing hall was rebuilt in the fourth year of the Shōhō era (1647).)【Admission】 Free
