Access

Car (from Shinjuku) 2 hours and 10 minutes by express train on Chuo East Line. Get off at Chino Station on the Chuo Line, take a 50-minute bus bound for Shirakabako, transfer to the fresh smile traffic Shirakaba Line bus in Higashi Shirakabako for 10 minutes, and get off at Tateshina Ranch. (From Tokyo) Get off at Sakudaira on the Nagano Shinkansen "Asama", take the Chikuma Bus Mochizuki / Komoro Nakasendo Line bus for 30 minutes, get off at the Ashida Bus Station (in front of Tateshina Town Hall) and transfer.
