Notes & Remarks
It has been designated as a Hamada City designated cultural property (natural monument) as "Hakumokuren of Kaneshiro's giant tree, Meiki Jorenji Temple". It is said that in the fall of 1898, just before Yutaka Nomi left for Tibet, he planted a tree at his birthplace, Jorenji Temple with his newly married wife. After that, Yutaka Nomi, who had been informed in Tibet, could not see the growth of this tree, but 100 years later, it became a large tree with a height of 15 meters and a trunk circumference of 1.8 meters, and every spring it has a wonderful white flower. I am making it.
