Mt. Moiwa Forest Park

Mt. Moiwa (185 meters above sea level) is located north of the city center. In November 2025, a new observation deck was built near the summit. There is a parking lot near the observation deck. From the observation deck, you can enjoy views of Taiki Town and the beautiful Hidaka Mountains. In the park at the foot of the mountain, visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms in the spring, and honeysuckle and lotus flowers in early summer. You can also see a variety of wild birds, making it a perfect place for bird watching.
