Daigo Town is knows as the northernmost region where tea can be produced. Its climate, large temperature difference between day and night, allows tea leaves grow strong, fresh and thick. Okukuji Tea Village Park offers workshop of preparing tea leaves rubbing by hand (temomi-cha), handmade konjac and soba noodles. They also sell local made tea leaves called "Okukuji-cha".
