Important notice
Komazu Marshland is geographically located between Showa Village and Minamiaizu Town, but the main entrance is located in the Hariu district of Minamiaizu Town. Access from Showa Village side (forest road) Even after the winter closure of National Route 401 Shintorii Pass has been lifted, you will not be able to enter until the forest road inspection and maintenance is completed. 2025 was opened on June 5th. (It usually opens from late May to early June.) Even after opening, it is not recommended because of bad roads. Please consider entering from the Minamiaizu-cho side.
