Muroran Yakitori

Although it is called "Yakitori", it does not use chicken mea, but rather the combintion of pork, onion, and mustard, which is what makes Muroran yaitori so unique. There are a considerable number of yakitori restaurants in the city, and in terms of population, it is one of the top cities in the country. In 2001, the "Yakitori-Yu-Pack" service was launched,and Muroran yakitori also won first place in the "Yakitori Olympics", a national yakitori taste competition, and Muroran yakitori is now becoming a national brand.
