In spring, the 30,000 cherry blossom trees color the whole mountain pink, and in autumn their leaves turn a beautiful shade of red. The cherry blossom tree leaves are quick to change color, followed by the vivid autumn hues of the maple trees. In the nearby area, there are Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, and several souvenir shops as well.
