This festival has been held as Takahata Town's summer festival for over 300 years. Along the shopping street venue, green bamboo poles adorned with red lanterns are set up on both sides of the road. A mikoshi parade and a folk song parade are held in the shopping street. Visitors can feel atmosphere of the traditional summer festival in Japan. Anyone can join a folk song parade.
