Rakurakusou was completed in 1898 as the residence of Tanaka Gentaro, a leading figure in Kyoto's financial world and a member of the House of Representatives. It has been registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property. It was opened as Ganko Kyoto Kameoka Rakurakuso in 2018.
You can enjoy Kyoto cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients, including Kameoka beef, while enjoying the serene view of the garden.
