Exhibition facilities ● Kanin Miya Palace Remains Collection Exhibition Hall / General Information Center (closed: Monday, New Year's holiday) Introduces a wide range of information to enjoy Kyotogyoen. In the VR theater, you can experience Kyoto Gyoen in the late Edo period, where court noble town spreads. ● Kyotogyoen Information Center (closed: year-end and New Year holidays) This facility introduces the history and nature of Kyotogyoen and serves as a base for walking in the park. There is also a diorama where you can see the facilities in the park and the highlights of the four seasons. Free rest area ● Kiyokazu-in Rest Area (closed Wednesday, New Year's holiday) Rest Area that also serves as a reception for visitors to the Kyoto State Guest House. In the surrounding area, there are grasshoppers and mother and child forests, so you can interact with nature. ● Konoe residence ruins resting place (regular holiday: Monday, year-end and New Year holidays) A resting place built on the site of the Konoe family residence, one of the Gosekke families. Introducing the gardens of Konoe's residence, Itozakura, and the culture of court nobles. A cafe designed by a Japanese confectionery shop. ● Nakatachiuri Rest Area (closed: New Year's holiday) The rest area closest to the entrance gate of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. There are restaurants and souvenir shops, and lockers and wheelchairs can be rented out. ● Tomikoji rest area (regular holidays: year-end and New Year holidays) Rest area southeast of Kyotogyoen. It is adjacent to tennis courts and sports squares, and has a cafe. ● Exercise facilities Reservation is required for the use of the open space and tennis court (charged) For inquiries, please contact the National Park Association Kyotogyoen.
