The Kinefuri Dance is a festive dance to pray for bumper harvest.Kinefuri means "shake a mallet".The dance is dedicated to a god a shrine on the Sunday closest to April 16th,when the people in colorful clothes and a unique hat perform the dance, deftly handling wooden mallets painted black and red.
The origin is not exactly clear, but it is said that it dates back 400 or 600 years.
