A keyhole shape mound constructed on a hillock on the southeast side of the Umami Hills. In 1885, along with stone cart wheels and hoe-shaped stones found in the centre of the rear square area of the tateanashiki chamber constructed of flat stones, 34 copper mirrors, including sangakubuchi shinjukyo mirrors with animals and triangular patterns around the edges and rare chokkomonkyo mirrors with straight line and curved line patterns and petals. From research done in 1981 on haniwa clay figures unearthed during surveys done towards the rear on the north side, it is thought to be the first tumulus constructed in the Umami Kofun group.
