11 minutes from JR Mishima Station bound for Tokai Bus Moto-Hakone, 5 minutes walk from Hatsune Entrance bus stop.
    Facility Information
About 300m from the bus stop "Hatsune Entrance" along the row of pine trees toward Hakone, there are two pairs of Nishikida Ichirizuka in the north and south across National Route 1. Minamizuka is an elliptical shape of about 10.5m x 10.2m, and is about 2.5m high. Enoki grows on the mound. Kitazuka is an oval shape of about 11.1m x 9.7m, and is about 2.5m high. Enoki grows on the mound. The record of Tenpo 14 (1843) at the end of the Edo period, "Tokaido-juku Village Overview Book", states that the south side is Enoki and the north side is pine. It is very valuable in only two places in Shizuoka Prefecture, Nishikida and Ishibuchi, Fujikawa-cho, where Ichirizuka remains in its original shape. Nishikida Ichirizuka was designated as a National Historic Site on March 8, 1922.
