The protective deity of Ginza 1-chome since the Edo period, and said to have been ceremonially transferred from Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto. Having been enshrined on Menuki-dori Avenue for many years, it was also known as the "sword selling inari" during the period when swords were sold in the region.
