    Take the JR Sekisho Line Shiokan Station Bus 25 minutes 17km Hidaka Municipal Bus and get off at the end point (in front of Hidaka Town Hall). One way 560 yen Taxi in front of Hidaka Town Hall 45 minutes 37km to Hidaka Hire (telephone 01457-6-7107). Roadside station "Kikai Road Hidaka" car 45 minutes 37km Roadside station runs on Route 274 in the direction of Obihiro. There is a roadway (gravel road) from the front of the headwaters bridge (around Hidaka) to the observatory that turns to the left. Sapporo Station Bus Terminal Bus 170 minutes 130km Take the Southern Hokkaido Bus bound for Hidaka Bus Terminal and get off at the terminal. 2550 yen one way. One round trip a day.
