Shionoe Onsen Village, discovered and opened approximately 1,300 years ago, is nestled among mountains, offering visitors the chance to enjoy hot spring bathing while taking in the beauty of the changing seasons. Nearby, you'll find well-maintained campgrounds such as the Otakiyama Prefectural Recreation Forest and Oku-no-Yu Park Campground, both ideal for nature walks. The area around the newly completed Kabagawa Dam, finished in 2024, is also emerging as a new spot for enjoying autumn foliage. Free parking is available at all locations.
