Cherry Blossoms

There are four 400-years old, large wild cherry trees on Mt. Sakura located behind Afuri Shrine. One of them is 3.5 meters in circumference and blossoms more gorgeously than the other trees. There is also a hiking course approximately one hour away from Oyama Elementary School, and visitors can enjoy viewing all the four cherry trees from here. The course offers fine views visitors can also see the Sagami Bay in distance.
