The Horan-e, a Kangen Festival at Takane Itsukushima Shrine, takes place on the 17th day of the 6th month in the lunar calendar, synchronized with Miyajima's Kangen Festival. The procession features a lead boat adorned with torii-shaped lanterns and oar-propelled boats, exchanging calls as they travel.
