    From JR Gifu and Meitetsu Gifu, take a bus bound for Gifu Park, Nagara Bridge / Takatomi and counterclockwise in the city loop. Get off at the "Gifu Park History Museum" bus stop and take a 5-minute walk to the ropeway. The ropeway is charged. About 3 minutes to the summit.
