Business hours: Historic Site Furutsu Hachi Hatayama Yayoi no Oka Exhibition Hall and Historic Park are closed days. Closed days are, in principle, Monday, the day after the holiday, from December 28 to January 3 of the following year. You can freely enter the Historic Park even on closed days, but you cannot use the restored pit dwellings and toilets because they are locked. In addition, please be careful as you cannot use restroom in historic spot park from December 28 to February 28 of the following year because we drain water to prevent water pipe rupture.

● About 20 minutes from Niigata Kameda IC on the Nihon-kai Tohoku Expressway ● About 15 minutes from the Niitsu IC on Banetsu Expressway ● Niitsu Station on the JR Shinetsu Line, Uetsu Line, Banetsu West Line 　 From Niitsu Station East Exit Bus Stop, take the Akiba-ku bus bound for Niitsu Station West Exit, get off at "Museum / Botanical Garden-mae" and walk immediately. 　 From the Niitsu Station East Exit Bus Stop, take the Niigata Kotsu Bus bound for Shirane / Katahi via Yashiroda, get off at the Niitsu Museum Entrance, and walk for about 5 minutes. ● Yashiroda Station on the JR Shinetsu Line 　 From the "Yashiroda Ekimae Bus Stop", take the Akiba-ku bus bound for Niitsu Station East Exit, get off at "Museum / Botanical Garden-mae" and walk immediately. 　 Take the Niigata Kotsu Bus bound for Niitsu, get off at Niitsu Museum Entrance, and walk for about 5 minutes. ● Furutsu Station on the JR Shinetsu Line 　 About 20 minutes on foot
