    Time: Cherry blossoms (Sakura): Early April (approximately 600) Shiraishi Odori: Bon Odori, which is said to have been started to mourn the dead of the Genpei Battle, has a harmonious dance with different gestures, such as male dance, female dance, and nin dance. On the night of August 13th to 16th, they dance all over the island. One of the three major dances in the prefecture.
