「子ども宇宙科学室」は、能美市大成町に落下した「根上いん石」や宇宙関連の資料を展示しており、AR技術でいん石衝突の瞬間を再現します。新しい見どころとして、ダイナミックなグラフィックウォール「のみそら」やウルトラマンシリーズの脚本家佐々木守氏の資料展示もあります。併設されたプラネタリウム室では、星空の映像コンテンツを楽しむことができ、子どもから大人まで宇宙について学べる施設です。
