This festival is a local festival held around Yuge Port in Kamijima-cho, which consists of 25 islands in the Seto Inland Sea in the northern part of Ehime Prefecture. The main component of it is a powerful fireworks that lights up the night of Kamijima and is so close that you can almost reach out and touch it. Every year, there are stalls set up by local merchants, organizations, groups, etc., as well as shows on a special stage. Enjoy a special summer experience in this town on the Seto Inland Sea.
