Situated right on the border of Amagase Town in Hita City and Kusu Town, double-drop Jion Falls measures 30 meters total: 20 meters for upper section, 10 meters for lower section. Nicknamed "Urami no Taki" hails from the fact that you can walk to the back of the Falls. It gets a beautiful lightup at night. Legend has it that circling the Falls clockwise brings fortune and, also, that there is a giant snake living in or around the premises.
