Hanamizuki hot spring hall in Taketa Hotspring has the first "minus-ion" bath in Japan and is very popular among women to overcome rough skin, atopic dermatitis, and others skin problems. There are two kinds of large public baths, the "Tsuki-no-yu" and "Hana-no-yu" that are exchanged for male and female use on a daily basis. A popular footbath is located at the entrance of the hall, which it can be used from 11 o'clock except on Thursdays. In addition, the large-size family baths that can be used by many people are also popular. Because there is a bus stop for high-speed buses going to Kumamoto in front, it can be used while waiting for the bus.
