文政年間創業の老舗の酒造。 日本で初めて扁平精米の技法を取り入れ、「味の濃さ」と「キレ味」の相反する2つの味わいの両立を可能とした。 事前予約制で酒蔵見学も行っている。酒蔵には、江戸時代に使われていた樽や、酒造りの道具などが残っており、当時の雰囲気を直に感じられる。
