Yase Temma-gu Shrine

■ Benkei's back stone It was located beside the torii gate of Tenman-gu Shrine, but now it is located beside the stone steps of the main shrine. It is as described below. It is said that Benkei was mischievously lowered from Mt. Hiei-zan. The height of the stone is more than six feet, but now it is about 1m50cm. About 33 cm is buried in the soil. ■ Kanko koshikake stone It is a stone that Michizane Sugawara rested in the corner of Yase Tenman-gu Shrine on his way to Mt. Hiei-zan for study. The origin of being advertised is described in "Yama Ruins Nashi (1711) published in 1711). The location is located on the left side of the three shrines on the left side of the Temma-miya Shrine. ■ Akimoto-jinja Shrine This shrine is located in the precincts of Yase Tenman-gu Shrine. During the Genroku era (1688-1704), celebrates Akimoto Tajimamori Takachi, who was an old man of the Shogunate. At that time, Takachi resolved the boundary dispute between Mt. Hiei-zan and Yase on the villagers' side. This reward occurred when villagers worshiped the spirit of Takachi after their death. Every year, there is a pardon ground dance in memory of Takachi the day before the Sports Day (holiday) in October (about 1 hour from 10:00). On this day, a hot water ceremony will be started at 10:00 in the morning in front of Akimoto Shrine as a lantern festival. At night, there will be a pardon ground dance from 20:00.
