This is the largest Setsubun event in Onomichi, held at Saigokuji Temple in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture. A goma fire is lit and a memorial service is held in the main hall, which is designated as an important cultural property. Afterwards, people pray for good health and safety in the home. The temple grounds are filled with a large number of people who gather in the hope of receiving good fortune.
