If you come by car Aiming at Kanetsu Expressway-Nakanoshima / Mitsuke-Teradomari Port, toward the fish Ameyoko area (30 minutes required) Parking lot: Yes (free) If you are coming from Tokyo, there are chain restrictions near Yuzawa IC in winter. If you are coming by Shinkansen 1. Get off at Nagaoka Station → Bus (West Exit No. 12 for Teradomari) → Get off at "Teradomari Omachi Bus Stop" → About 1 minute walk (about 70 minutes from Nagaoka Station) 2, get off at "Tsubame Sanjo Station". → Use a taxi. You can get on at either Tsubame Exit or Sanjo Exit. (Approximately 40 minutes) 3, Transfer to Tsubame-Sanjo Station → Get on the JR Yahiko Line (for Yahiko) → "Yoshida Station" Retransit → Get on the JR Echigo Line (for Kashiwazaki) → Get off at Teradomari Station → Take a bus (bound for Teradomari Kaigan) 　 → Get off at "Teradomari Omachi Bus Stop" → About 1 minute walk (about 1.5 to 2 hours) If you are coming by plane Niigata Airport → Take the Niigata Airport Line (for Niigata Station South Exit) bus → Get off at Niigata Station South Exit → Get on the Joetsu Shinkansen (bound for Tokyo) → Get off at "Tsubame Sanjo Station" → Taxi
