富士山須走五合目を目指して、標高約800mの「ふじあざみライン0kmポスト」から、標高2,000mの「富士山須走五合目」まで、片道11.8kmのコースで実施されます。平均勾配約10％、最大勾配約22％のスーパー坂道RUNです。 種目は登りの部（11.8km）、往復の部（23.6km）の2つ。両種目ともにウエーブスタートで、登りの部は10時・10時20分・10時50分（エリート）の3ウエーブ、往復の部は9時20分・9時40分の2ウエーブで行われます。競技終了時刻は登りの部は13時、往復の部は13時30分と、制限時間は緩めでさまざまなレベルのランナーがチャレンジ可能です。 晴れていると、スタート地点の「ふじあざみライン0kmポスト」から富士山が望めます。

Access
From Gotemba Station, exit the "Fuji Yamaguchi" exit, stop 2, "Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus" bound for Lake Kawaguchi at 7:45/8:50 Departure from Gotemba Station, exit the "Otomeguchi" exit and take the tournament shuttle bus departing from Otomeguchi Rotary at 7:30/8:30.

There is a parking lot for exclusive use of the tournament: Subashiri General Ground (about 5 minutes on foot to the tournament headquarters)
