　富士山須走五合目を目指して、標高約800mの「ふじあざみライン0kmポスト」から、標高2000mの「富士山須走五合目」まで、片道11.8kmのコースで実施されます。平均勾配約10%、最大勾配約22%のスーパー坂道RUNです。 　種目は登りの部(11.8km)、往復の部(23.6km)の２つ。両種目ともにウエーブスタートで、登りの部は10時・10時20分・10時50分(エリート)の3ウエーブ、往復の部は9時20分・9時40分の2ウエーブで行われます。競技終了時刻は登りの部は13時、往復の部は13時30分と、制限時間は緩めでさまざまなレベルのランナーがチャレンジ可能です。 　晴れていると、スタート地点の「ふじあざみライン0kmポスト」から富士山が望めます。
