The 15.8 km mountain road, selected as one of “Japan’s Top 100 Roads,” offers beautiful autumn foliage even from the car. Due to the altitude difference, you can watch the autumn colors slowly moving down the slopes. From the Kurokakmidaira and Akechidaira plateaus, you can enjoy a sweeping panoramic view that extends all the way to the Kanto Plain.
