Access

JR Uetsu Main Line Tsuruoka Station Bus 50 minutes. From Es Mall in Tsuruoka City (bus terminal) to Haguro summit, get off at the Vacation Murasaki bus stop and walk for 1 minute. Bus 30 minutes shuttle bus (reservation required at least 3 days in advance). Departure from Tsuruoka Station 10:30, 14:45 (only meeting at the bus waiting area on the left after exiting the ticket gate). For vehicles departing from Vacation Village at 9:30 and 13:45, Murata JCT of Tohoku Expressway → Yamagata Expressway → From Tsukiyama IC to National Route 112 → Yudono IC → Yamagata Expressway Shonai Asahi IC → Take the Super Farm Road Kobaecha Line toward Mt. Haguro → About 8 km from Red Otorii
