Access

JR Uetsu Main Line Tsuruoka Station Bus 50 minutes. From Es Mall in Tsuruoka City (bus terminal) to Haguro summit, get off at the Vacation Murasaki bus stop and walk for 1 minute. Bus 30 minutes shuttle bus (reservation required at least 3 days in advance). Departure from Tsuruoka Station 10:30 and 14:30 (Only exit the ticket gate and wait at the waiting area on the left side). For vehicles departing from Vacation Village at 9:30 and 13:30, Tohoku Expressway Murata JCT → Yamagata Expressway → From Tsukiyama IC to National Route 112 → Yudono IC → Yamagata Expressway Shonai Asahi IC → Take the Super Farm Road Kobaecha Line toward Mt. Haguro → About 8 km from Red Otorii
