    More details

    Access
24 minutes from JR Mishima Station bound for Tokai Bus Moto-Hakone, 2 minutes walk from Sasabaru bus stop.
    Facility Information
From the bus stop "Sasabaru", go up the Hakone old highway cobblestone for about 100m toward Hakone, and there is the southern mound of Sasabaru Ichirizuka in the rising forest on the south side, but unfortunately Kitazuka does not remain. Minamizuka is an elliptical shape of about 14.2m x 13.8m, measuring about 2.5m in height, and trees such as spine grow on the mound. However, the trees on the mound are written as pine in the "Tokaido-juku Village Overview Book", so these trees are considered to have been planted since the Meiji era. In addition, the stone pavement of the Hakone Old Highway on the north side of Ichirizuka was maintained by Mishima City and retains the scenery of the Edo period. From Hakone Toge to Sasabaru, the cobblestones remain well, making it a great hiking course.
