北海道共和町出身で国際的画家・西村計雄の油彩画作品約5,300点収蔵しているほか、素描や愛用の品などの資料も所蔵しています。 これらの作品・資料をもとに、年に４本程度のテーマ展示を開催しています。 また、西村画伯の弟子にあたる山岸正巳の油彩画・パステル画約130点のほか、素描等の資料を所蔵し、年１回程度展覧会を開催しご紹介しています。
