“Fukuro Matsuri ”is the bigegst festival in Toshima city and it contains 2 kinds of festival which are “Mikoshi festival” on 27th and 28th of September and “Dance festival” on 11th and 12th of October. Second part of Fukuro matsuri is “Dance festival”, you can see many kind s of dance performance such as Kappore, Sado Okesa, Ikebukuro Yassa dance etc. “Tokyo Yosakoi” started from this event since 1998 and now became one of the most famous event. Last year's participating dancers were 720 more than second last year, 112of dance teams and about 5000 dancers was performed last year. 第2部「踊りの祭典」はかっぽれ、佐渡おけさ、池袋やっさ踊りなどが楽しめ、しめくくりに「東京よさこいコンテスト」が行われます。 東京よさこいは、平成10年の第32回「ふくろ祭り」から始まった人気イベントです。 2024年は昨年より９チーム・720名増え、112チーム総勢5000名近くが参加しました。
