    「四郎國光」の工房で刀匠に教わりながら包丁を制作。日本刀の製造技術から確立された伝統的な「打ち刃物」の製法で作ります。素材を炉で熱し、槌でたたいて伸ばし、「焼き入れ」で急冷して強度を高め、研ぎへ。形を整え、鏨（たがね）で「銘切り」します。この工程、実は日本刀とほぼ同じ。炉の熱や鋼を打つ音を体感しながら、作刀の技を垣間見ることができます。
