■ Shinka Because Kasuga-jinja Shrine's messenger is deer, there is a sacred deer that is not a guardian dog in front of the shrine. ■ Sewai One of the famous waters. It is on the way to the shrine. It was written in 'Ise Monogatari' (The Tale of Ise) and 'Kokin Wakashu' (Collection of Ancient and Modern Japanese Poetry). It is said that it was used as a hot spring for Emperor Seiwa.
