Mitsui Memorial Museum has about 4,000 items of fine arts and crafts and about 130,000 stamps collected by the Mitsui family since the Edo period. They is a wide variety of collections from a number of teawares to paintings, writings, swords, Noh masks, Noh costumes, furniture, etc., including six items of National Treasures, 75 of Important Cultural Properties, and four of Art Treasures. The museum curates and holds special exhibitions with various themes as well as holding exhibitions of its own collections. There are no permanent exhibits.
