    円墳、彩色文様のある石室が残る、国指定文化財です。 6世紀後半に造られたもので、石室は西に向かって開口しており、全長は8.2ｍ。石室内部の石材は阿蘇溶結凝灰岩を使用し、腰石の巨石の上に長方形の切石を横長に積み上げた、頑丈で整美なつくりになっている。奥壁には赤色顔料で装飾壁画が描かれている。 見学自由 文化財 国指定史跡 作成年代: 古墳時代 指定年: 1961 時代 古墳
