    The old Muroran Station building was built in 1912 and is the oldest wooden station building in Hokkaido. The building's architectural style is a shipped roof, with a white-walled exterior that retains the look of Western-style architecture from the Meiji period, and the outer perimeter is a country. it is currently used as a tourist information center. The hall is also open to the public as an exhibition space and rest area.
