    Tradition and Support of Polishing Technology Tsubame City has been supplying not only Western tableware such as spoons, but also stainless steel pots, tumblers, and many machine parts to Japan and all over the world by making full use of the “metal polishing industry” technology, which is a fundamental technology of the metalworking industry. The Tsubame City Polisher Ichibankan was built to foster successors to the metal polishing industry, to promote the opening of new businesses, and to spread metal polishing techniques through hands-on learning. Inside the factory, visitors can observe metal buffing and other polishing operations (reservations required). Visitors can also try their hand at polishing stainless steel beer cups and other items (reservation required). You can take home the finished cups! Time required: about 1 hour (approx.) including the factory tour and polishing experience
