Named after the local region, Oniyama, this Jigoku Onsen is also referred to as "Crocodile Hell." They began rearing crocodiles here by utilizing the geothermal energy of the area - the first of its kind in the country. Today, over 80 of them inhabit the premises. Feeding on Wednesdays and weekends is open to the public. You can see an impressive scene of crocs rising up into the air for their feed quite often.
