(Legend of Kintaro location) It is said that Yaegiri, the mother of Kintaro, went to Yubune Hot Springs to recover her strength before giving birth, and on her way back home she gave birth to Kintaro on the banks of the Nozawa River. After returning home, she used the water from the waterfall for Kintaro's first bath. It is said that the locals prayed to kintaro and used the water from the waterfall for their childrens' first baths, wishing for the healthy growth of their children.
