    越Okawazu Diversion Canal, the guardian deity of the Later Plains The Okawazu Museum, built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Shinano River repair work, exhibits materials on the history of the Shinano River and the Okawazu Diversion, and can be used as a place for comprehensive learning. From the observation room on the fourth floor, visitors can look out over the magnificent scenery of the Shinano River and the Okawazu Diversion Canal and see many waterfowl, including swans. The area around the museum is maintained as a park, with a waterway where visitors can play in the water and a fishway observation room where they can observe fish swimming in the water. In the fall, you may even be able to catch a glimpse of salmon migrating up the Shinano River!
