    The crimson bridge, one of the 50 best bridges in Niigata Located halfway up Kunikami Mountain, associated with Ryokan, this 124m long red suspension bridge connects Asahiyama Observatory and Gogoan. The name is taken from the “Sengan-do Valley” over which the bridge spans. The distance from the bridge to the bottom of the valley is about 35m, and the bridge shows various faces: fresh green, autumn leaves, and snow-covered. In 1993, it was selected as one of the “50 Best Bridges in Niigata. Parking: Tsubame City Bunsui Visitor Service Center 5-minute walk from the parking lot through the Asahiyama Observatory
